As far as the decor and atmosphere, this Bellingham breakfast place doesn’t go out of it’s way to set itself apart. Being an established favorite with locals, this greasy spoon always has a steady flow even in the face of COVID. The entire staff is laid back, unpretentious, and friendly and they seem to understand the delicate balance between being attentive and being obnoxious. The food is well prepared and they haven’t missed a single of the special requests I always have. An excellent local gem!

Great experience! Food was good and service was quick. Home made hash is highly recommended. Dining area is small but not squished. Quality homestyle breakfast at a reasonable price!

Best mom and pop old school breakfast place, unbelievably good one would think grandma is cooking again! Try the chili and cheese omelette and add shaved steak it’s unbelievable!! Keep these people in business they deserve it!!!

Been eating here for over a decade and The breakfast Nook is still a must in my rotation. The food is reminiscent of sleeping at grandmas house and waking up to the yummiest meal possible cooked by someone who pours love into their craft. With specialties like banana nut bread french toast or Alaskan pouched eggs there's something for everyone, it's reasonably priced and the staff is diligent and friendly! Parking is sketchy but totally worth the effort. Food featured in photos,steak and cheese omelette with home fries and raisin toast along side a sausage egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel with cream cheese both plates where delicious! I apologize I don't have a photo of my banana nut bread french toast because it was just that good!

Food was excellent and hot, very large menu! They have a little bit of everything, so pretty much anyone can eat here despite dietary differences which is awesome for my household. Food was too good to stop and get a picture.

This place has such good food! It is a hidden gem and we have never had bad food here. Their decor could use a little update (and cleaning; some wallpaper is peeling and what’s underneath needs to be looked at) but we will still continue to go no matter what. The food and people are incredible!
